30 minute virtual sessions
If the idea of sitting quietly with your thoughts sounds difficult or even impossible to you, this is the meditation series for you. The format each week is simple; we will introduce the type of meditation we're going to try, do that meditation together, have the opportunity to briefly share our experiences, and end with suggestions for optional independent practices during the week.
Week 1: Setting ourselves up for success by making things as easy as possible, and releasing expectations before doing an unguided meditation.
Week 2: Guided meditation that draws awareness to our senses and into our bodies.
Week 3: Guided meditation that takes us outside of our bodies.
Week 4: Meditation using different breathwork techniques.
Week 5: Meditation with soundscapes rather than words for guidance.
Week 6: Prompted, but unguided active/moving meditation.
